DEC 22nd - JAN 20th

THIS YEAR 2014 - You will embark on a journey that is unexpected but will bring you great happiness.

Your element: Earth
Your ruling planets: Saturn
Symbol: The Goat
Your stone: Garnet
Life Pursuit: To be proud of their achievements
Vibration: Poweful resilient energy
Capricorn Secret Desire: to be admired by their family and friends and the world at large

The sign of the high roller, Capricorn is regarded as the zodiac’s top, but also quiet, life and business achievers. But, there are two very different types of Capricorns.
The first is represented by the mountain goat, always climbing higher and higher; never content until reaching the top. The second is the garden goat, with little adventurous spirit or ambition-happy to remain within a small domain, refusing to budge unless it is pushed. Either type of Capricorn, however, is patient and persevering. They reach their goals because they know the longest journey commences with a single step and that the first step is always the most difficult.

The one thing a Capricorn must always try to do is balance work with play; otherwise they can become too one-sided and work can replace true personal emotional fulfillment. Continually climbing the eternal mountain of success, Capricorns rise to the occasion when faced with a new task or deadline. Even if something comes to a grinding halt, their ambition to reach the ultimate keeps them moving forever onwards and upwards (prompted by the strict influence of ruling planet Saturn). Although conservative and cautious, Goats are willing to try unusual approaches on their road to success in business or in love. Romantically, they desire a permanent relationship with someone who'll give them the affection they crave (and often neglect to give themselves!)

The rulership of Saturn - the planet representing responsibility, structure and hard work - ensures that Capricorns in their truest of expression, are ambitious, practical and superb organizers. Although many Capricorns are borderline workaholics, this doesn't necessarily make them dull or gloomy! They have an offbeat sense of humor, which seems to erupt at the most unexpected moments. Their motivating force in life is success, money, status, authority and - although many might not admit it - love. By nature Capricorns are cautious when entering a new love relationship, but once they feel 'safe' with their partner, the cool exterior melts away to reveal a sensitive and loyal heart beneath. As a friend, Capricorns can be relied upon to provide the strongest and most sympathetic pair of shoulders in the zodiac...

Blessings for the year ahead my Capricorn Friends

Scorpio People born between October 23rd and November 21st (some charts state November 22) are born under the constellation Scorpio.

Scorpio is a Water sign. In the language of astrology, this means Scorpions are people who are silent, mysterious types whose magic hypnotizes even the most determined realist. They have uncanny perceptions about people and as rich as the oceans when it comes to feeling, emotion, or imagination. They are emotional and intuitive.

Scorpions have the potential for the depths of darkness or the heights of mysticism and art.

This sign (or people born under this sign) help finish projects started by others and are also very supportive and passive creatures. They have a very strong desire and inclination to please. Like other Water signs, they live through their emotions, imaginations, and intuitions.

Scorpio's astrological statement is "I desire!" This can cause Scorpions to be very materialistic creatures, especially if they don't get in tune with their spiritual side of existence.

In tune with their spiritual side, they are very balanced creatures; however, it is important for this sign to not cling to one extreme of the pole, being very spiritual to the detriment of their material side and nature, or being very material and to the detriment of their spiritual side. Balance is key.

Keywords that describe this sign are: Sensitivity, Transformation, Mastery (especially self-mastery), Suspicious, Covert, Trauma, Self-destruction, Vindictive, Magnetism, Power, Sexuality, and Controlling.

Scorpio is traditionally the most sexual and most intense sign of the Zodiac. Befittingly, Scorpio rules the sex glands.

Scorpio corresponds to the astrological Eighth House, which deals with Regeneration, Death or Mortality, Inheritance, Taxes, Sex, and Metaphysics.

Scorpions do well in occupations dealing with health and healing (regeneration), death (morticians, undertakers, embalmers, etc.), inheritance (probate law), sex (sex therapist, sex instructor, sex educator, adult film star, etc.), and taxes (tax preparer, tax consultant, or even tax protestor after
Scorpios are "Fixed." They share this trait with Taurus, its astrological opposite, Leo, and Aquarius.

Scorpio's polarity is "Feminine." Feminine in astrological language means withdrawn, passive, and receptive in nature. These people are introverts whereas the Masculine signs are extroverts.

Other "Feminine" signs include: Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces.

Scorpio's ideal sign for marriage compatibility is Taurus,Cancer its astrological opposite. The reason why astrological opposites or polarities make the best soul mates or marriage partners (despite otherwise being an incompatible sign) is due to the fact that there are so many challenges when opposites signs connect, but when these challenges are overcome (as they are in time), you have two very balanced individuals. The opposite of conflict is harmony so polar signs arrive at harmony in the end and experience a very balanced relationship.

Opposites signs help you to deal with your shadow side (or self), which manifests your negative traits. Your polar sign exposes you to hidden traits within yourself and help you to balance yourself, trait-wise. Your astrological opposite is your mirror upon which you can reflect upon.

Famous Scorpios

Famous Sun sign Scorpions include: Bill Gates, Ruby Dee, Larry King, Julia Roberts, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Lisa Bonet, Meg Ryan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Jodie Foster, Ike Turner, Whoopi Goldberg, Joaquin Phoenix, Sally Field, Goldie Hawn, Kevin Kline, Grace Kelly, Matthew McConaughey, Bo Derek, Dylan McDermott, Demi Moore, John Cleese, Martin Scorsese, Linda Evans, Danny Devito, Ann Reinking, Jonathan Winters, Richard Dreyfus, Lauren Hutton, Burt Lancaster, Rock Hudson, Q-Tip, Mariel Hemmingway, Art Carney, Jane Alexander, Mike Nichols, Brian Keith, Elke Sommer, Dennis Miller, Bibi Anderson, Sam Waterson, Richard Burton, Hilary Clinton, F. Murray Abraham, Maria Shriver, Charles Bronson, Kate Capshaw, Michael Landon, Tatum O'Neal, Harry Hamlin, Rickie Lee Jones, Henry Winkler, Bonnie Raitt, KD Lang, Roy Schieder, Neil Young, Lyle Lovett, Ruth Gordon, Nadia Comaneci, Ed Asner, Brenda Vacarro, Sir Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, Helen ReddySam Shepherd, Lee Strasberg, Marla Maples, Prince Charles, Art Garfunkel, Ted Turner, Voltair, and Jason Christopher (a/k/a Godson).

Astrological Health Profile

In medical astrology, Scorpio governs the following bodily organs: genitals, reproductive organs, bladder, urethra, and rectum. There is a tendency with this sign to genital afflictions, venereal disease, rectal polyps, as well as sinus and adenoid trouble.

Scorpions are prone to the following diseases and disorders:

  • Sexually transmitted diseases
  • Uterine tract infections
  • Menstrual problems
  • Anal fissures
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Colitis
  • Hernias
  • Diarrhea
  • Crone's disease
  • Constipation
  • Ulcers
  • Prostatitis
  • Bladder infection
  • Uterine complaints (fibroid tumors)
  • Adenoids
  • Polyps
  • Profuse sweating
  • Sinusitis
  • Nasal catarrh
  • Pelvic inflammatory diseases
  • Intense body odor
  • Acne
  • Poisoned blood
  • Parasites
  • Candida (yeast infection)
  • Piles
  • Obsessions

Because Scorpio is the polarity of Taurus, Scorpions can pick up health complaints commonly experienced by Taurus such as neck and throat problems and because Scorpio is also very prone to sinus and adenoid problems, Taurus in the chart during a time of sickness could enhance any troubles with the sinuses and adenoids.

Pluto, co-ruler of Scorpio along with Mars, rules regenerative cell growth as well as the revitalization of the mental faculties. The Chi force in this sign can overcome even the most serious and life threatening of illnesses.

What does the Transit of Venus mean to astrology?

What happens during Transit of Venus?
The Transit of Venus pertains to the spectacular astronomical event when Venus takes a strategic position between the Earth and the sun. This particular motion by Venus normally happens, but when it does, the second planet from the sun is usually higher or lower, so it does not block the face of the sun. Twice in a hundred years, however, Venus is aligned between the Earth and the sun in a good position to block the sun's light. It is like an eclipse, but a miniature one. Instead of the sun looking like a ring of fire or a broken ball of light, it appears with a dot on its face instead.

The transit of Venus comes in pair every century. Earth saw the first of this lifetime's pair in June 2004.
What does the Transit of Venus mean to astrology?
For the astrologers, Venus is a planet that celebrates man's desire for the good things in life.
"Venus understands the beauty of form, possession and manifestation,"   "She is useful in practical and everyday living for protection, power and support. She supports aspiration, success and achievement in LIFE."
Egyptians see Venus as the "Giver of Life,".
The Sun, on the other hand, is the source of life energy. It gives light literally and figuratively, and with its light comes power.
Together, Venus and the Sun coming face to face is a huge cosmic event. How does it relate to the Mayans' prediction that the world will come to an end (or huge changes are coming) in December 2012?
The Mayans watched Venus obsessively, and had to have known that the end of their calendar would occur at the perfect time, in the same year as the transit of Venus. The Mayans associated Venus to terrifying ideas.

Venus actually represents the things we love, the people we love, how we connect... It's very much about highlighting and drawing attention to our desire nature... All of that is being punctuated with great intensity.
The transit of Venus will affect people on a personal level, individually.
I believe that we will be given the opportunity to become aware of who we are within our relationships, and if we are bringing our true self into our relationships. The energy of this eclipse also provides with the ability to bring balance within our relationships as well.
If astrology is meaningful to you, mark the date of this year's Venus transit. You may just notice one or a few changes with regards to your relationships and desires.

June 4, 2012 Partial Full Moon Eclipse — How it Effects YOU

June 4, 2012 Partial Full Moon Eclipse
A couple of posts back I mentioned that I suspected come June many people will be in a different place emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.  And this certainly is the case. The energy shifts of May have been remarkable and are continuing into June.
Many say they feel more expansive, receptive to change, less reactive and personal limitations are  dropping away.
During the month of May the universal energies have been assisting us with ascension and stepping into our true selves in a powerful way.  Many of you have been supporting  Universe by doing your inner work. Well done.
May 20th-21st we had a powerful solar eclipse which created a shift experienced by all whether conscious of it or not.
We are now midway through a two week period of getting acclimatized to this shift before the next one arrives.
June 4, 2012 there is a Partial Full Moon Lunar Eclipse followed by Venus in Transit June 5-6.
Venus in Transit is what I really want to focus on for my Elders of 12–They  are telling me that it will be very significant for all of us on planet earth.
However the Partial Full Moon Eclipse in Gemini/Sagittarius comes first.
The Full Moon on June 4th is often referred to as the Strawberry Moon, Rose Moon or Flower Moon. According to the Farmers Almanac the Algonquin Tribes called it the Strawberry Moon because it was their signal to gather the ripening fruit. In areas of the world where strawberries are not native, the moon was and still is referred to as Rose or Flower Moon.
Full Moons in general  pack a powerful punch affecting us on a emotional level. Add in an eclipse and the intensity is super charged.
During this partial full moon eclipse one third of the moon’s face will be dark when it is covered by the earth. EST- and Asia and Australia will be able to view it in the evening.
The actual full moon will be at 7:11 am EST.
An eclipse carries with it an energy of change in a cycle, pattern. Hidden patterns come to the forefront for release not only on a personal level but also on a global level. Countries, governments, businesses are all affected.
Course corrections in your life seem to come out of nowhere. Relationships of all kinds– business, family, friendships and love are highlighted in this course correction. The full moon eclipse energy will help to heal male/female issues and relationships. Be ready to let someone go or let someone in!
While all of this will be present during this partial full moon eclipse, The Tribunal, my channeling guides tell me that this celestial event will help to lift us into the light of Divine Love.
While the “Big Picture,” might be fuzzy during this time period keep searching for the truth.  Think clearly and always ask inside of yourself, to your inner being what is right for you.
This lunar full moon eclipse will inspire you. It will bring to the open new information allowing you to move forward, merge and unite.
Perhaps a revelation will unfold as you seek your truth.  You will gain a new perspective as the fullness of a plan is exposed or comes to fruition.

rite your post here.

The good news right now is that there is less intensity happening in the psychic atmosphere today than yesterday. However, some of the havoc created on Monday - via the Mars-Uranus and Mercury-Jupiter clashes - still remains in effect.

Meanwhile, the Moon in Cancer is your celestial reminder to deal with residential chores like making the kitchen and bath areas shine again, sprucing up the living room or conducting major clean-up campaigns. Cooking and baking are highlighted. Experimenting with soups, chowders and seafood dishes hits the spot.

After the Moon creates some consternation by opposing Pluto the lunar orb is a favorable influence by forming a supportive, 60-degree alliance with giant Jupiter  and making flowing trines to Mercury  and Venus .

The major challenging planetary conflict comes from Mars forming an off-kilter, 150-degree link to Ceres. Be extra sensitive and kind to maternal figures, children and pets. Becoming angry over a trifle is taboo.

A wave of nostalgia can easily rise to the surface tonight under the Cancer Moon vibrations which often summon the past and historical events with ease. A Mercury-Venus parallel can also be a signal that all is well on the friendship and romantic fronts since both of these celestial bodies are in passion-centered Scorpio.

For the first day of a workweek in October, this is not an ideal situation. There is an illusion that all is well, and this is coming from a superlative, flowing trine in air signs from the Moon in Gemini to the Sun in Libra PDT), but it is what precedes it and follows it which is alarming.

The red planet Mars makes a caustic, 135-degree link to revolutionary Uranus. The most explosive planetary pair in astrology is Mars-Uranus. Whenever they enter into a challenging geometrical configuration, sparks can definitely fly. Strive to create serenity throughout your aura for several hours before and after this sky pattern is exact.

Meanwhile, Mercury makes its annual opposition to Jupiter linking Scorpio to Taurus. In traditional astrology, Mercury and Jupiter rule the four mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. As such, these two planets have a lot to do with the realms of communication and transportation. When Mercury opposes Jupiter, there can be breakdowns, snafus, and upheavals in these areas of activity within humanity. Of course, any opposition can still rise to the occasion as a source of mental expansion and enlightenment, but in the modern world and in terms of millions of people going to jobs and traveling on busy highways, any Mercury-Jupiter polarity needs to be monitored with care.

A void lunar cycle develops  and continues until   the Moon enters Cancer - the sign of its natural abode. home and family matters tend to trump everything else.

There is a fair amount of cosmic volatility going on during the next 48-hour stretch. Here's why.

First of all, from the positive side of the astro-equation, Venus forms a supportive, 60-degree liaison with distant Pluto . This aspect can be utilized on the love front and in key relationships to add in-depth understanding and harmony. Mercury enters intensive Scorpio  until November 2. During the next two days, Mercury - the ancient Messenger of the Gods - will form aspects to Chiron, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune.

Meanwhile, if you are feeling torn between several forks in the road, it may be due to the Moon in Taurus opposing Venus in Scorpio , a very euphoric and mentally-expansive lunar union with Jupiter , the restrictive-constraining nature of the annual Sun-Saturn union in Libra , and the Moon forming a potentially discordant parallel to Mars .

The sum total of these four aspects - happening within about 10 hours - can really wreak havoc because the Jupiterian and Saturnian vibrations are being stretched to their utmost. Thus, a kind of manic-depressive energy-field is taking hold and millions within the human kingdom are the temporary guinea pigs. Of course, you can simply wax optimistic and self-confident during the Moon-Jupiter conjunction and then wane into realism and common sense during the Sun-Saturn union. That is definitely one way to approach this day.

Later on, Mercury forms a flowing trine in water signs with Chiron  - giving a distinct boost to healing forces across the board. Be prepared for additional rocking-and-rolling as Friday carves out its niche into the history books.

Dreams and out-of-the-body visions are intensified - courtesy of a Moon-Neptune flowing trine from Gemini to Aquarius (2:34AM ). However, this aspect also doubles as the start of a void lunar cycle that lasts until 3:32AM  when the Moon enters the sign of its natural abode - Cancer.

After 3:32AM , home and family themes are predominant. Interest in ancestral ties, history, nostalgia and memorabilia grows. Gardening, cooking, baking and water sports are back in style.

Healing forces are on the march - thanks to Venus in polarity to Chiron (3:54AM ). Love birds and dear ones can find more romance and understanding via this opposition from Virgo to Pisces - particularly as the Moon trines Chiron (9:18AM ) and forms a supportive, 60-degree liaison with Venus (9:54AM ).

Be aware that Pallas backtracks into Capricorn (6:24AM ) - a cycle that lasts until October 26, 2011 when Pallas resumes its lengthy transit in Aquarius.

What can lead to challenges today around the horn are a Venus-Uranus off-kilter, 150-degree tie (4:23PM ) followed shortly thereafter by Saturn connecting with Neptune via a frictional, 135-degree aspect (5:50PM ). Both sky patterns can influence the entire day and large numbers of people. No one is necessarily immune from self-doubts, worries and the trap of pessimistic thinking. Do all in your power to inject some levity, enthusiasm and confidence into your mind-set, behavior patterns, and interactions with friends, colleagues and relatives. Stop playing any blame games.

Steer clear of overnight decision-making as the red planet Mars is back on the warpath - antagonizing both Neptune and Saturn within a two-hour time-span in the early hours of Thursday.

Lunar Phase:

Astrology home page astrological alignments planetary alignmentsSome of the long void lunar cycles that have been plaguing this month are becoming shorter in duration. This pattern continues for about the next 10 days. Therefore, today's void uncertainty zone by the Moon begins at 5:24AM PDT (during the monthly Moon-Mercury polarity) and remains in effect until 10:14PM PDT - a time-period of 16+ hours.

Trying to make things happen your way during any void lunar twilight zone can backfire with nasty results. It is preferable to go with the flow, complete odds and ends, and mellow out.

Giving you a nurturing, comforting boost is a subtle and yet still helpful, 30-degree rapport from Ceres in Aries to Neptune in Pisces (11:17AM PDT). The main challenge of the day arrives at 4:57PM PDT when Venus in Cancer forms an off-kilter, 150-degree tie to Vesta in Aquarius. Playing fast and loose with hard-earned savings is taboo. You could make some headway in studying financial affairs and investment strategies if you proceed with patience and determination.

When the void lunar cycle ends at 10:14PM PDT - with the Moon entering Pisces for the next 2+ days - compassion and empathy for the truly needy and disadvantaged are highlighted. Immerse yourself in a bestseller or enjoy a film classic. Keep a notebook by your bed to record Technicolor dreams and out-of-the-body visions as the Moon makes its monthly union with far-out Neptune (11:03PM PDT).

Astrology home pageJune ends with some tenderness and nostalgia. Love is in the air - thanks to the monthly Moon-Venus union in Gemini (12:34AM PDT). This happy alignment is also a boost for your creative artistic expression. However, it also starts a void lunar cycle that continues until 9:14AM PDT when the Moon enters the sign of its natural abode - Cancer.

Meanwhile, during the void twilight zone, the Moon also forms a parallel to Venus (2:49AM PDT). Romance appears to be budding in a strong manner, but it is probably wise to wait until the Moon changes sign before pushing ahead with matters of the heart.

Once the lunar orb finds solace in watery Cancer (9:14AM PDT), and home and family themes echo through the consciousness of humanity, a third Venusian alignment takes place - this time a fabulous Sun-Venus parallel (2:24PM PDT). This is equivalent to a Sun-Venus union in the zodiac and they only happen every 9+ months. However, this Sun-Venus rapport is happening via the Celestial Equator where each celestial body is 23+ degrees north of that earthly circle projected on to the sky.

Make the most of this Solar-Venusian love-fest by enjoying social, fashion, and style activities. Widen your circle of friends. Redesign the fine and graphic arts to be your personal playground.

Helping you tune into this new wave of exuberance are a mind-expanding, Moon-Jupiter 60-degree tie (6:12PM PDT) and a healing-oriented, Moon-Chiron flowing trine in water signs (6:46PM PDT).

The banner of uncertainty is unfurled tonight when the Moon opposes Pluto (8:22PM PDT) - leading the charge to a Partial Solar Eclipse (1:40AM PDT) and the Cancer New Moon (1:55AM PDT) both occurring in the early hours of Friday. Complete old business ventures late tonight with flair and determination.

ASTROLOGY UPDATE - Tuesday 29th JUNE 2011

Astrology home pageAstrology update  29th June 2011

Over the next 48 hours, June 2011 ends - blanketed by the increasingly strong dark-of-the-moon vibrations. Early Friday July 1 will usher in a Partial Solar Eclipse shortly before the Cancer New Moon. In essence, you ought to be completing odds and ends, now and tomorrow - putting the finishing touches to projects you have been working on for the last few weeks.

The universe has been throwing a lot of challenging and favorable alignments your way for many days, but now the only planetary happening to speak of is an off-kilter, 150-degree tie connecting Mars in Gemini to Pluto in Capricorn (11:48AM PDT). Having the entire cosmic stage for its manifestation, this Mars-Pluto joust is likely to give many people headaches - real and figurative.

Many astrologers consider Pluto to be the alter-ego of Mars or vice-versa. Whatever the celestial truth may be, it is hard to sugar-coat this discordant interaction in the heavens. Just make sure you remain loving and considerate when dealing with family members and dear ones across the board. The easy way out is to raise a ruckus and be a one-person wrecking crew - only to have to apologize later for your unruly behavior.

The best time of the day occurs as Wednesday morphs into Thursday since the Moon is approaching its monthly union with Venus in Gemini (forming exactly at 12:34AM PDT tomorrow). Although this Moon-Venus merger will start an 8+ hour void lunar cycle, the hours happening before the merger and permeating Wednesday night are creative, soothing and mentally stimulating.

ASROLOGY COSMIC GUIDE - Tuesday 28th June 2011

Astrology home pageThe cosmos shows some improvement over yesterday's strange vibrations. The Moon leaves void status by entering airy Gemini (12:57AM PDT). Reading, writing, arts, crafts and hobbies are promoted. You can receive a great intellectual and intuitive charge from the Sun forming a parallel to Mercury (4:39AM PDT) while Jupiter makes a subtle and yet still inspiring, 30-degree rapport with Uranus (5:21AM PDT). There is breakthrough potential in many fields of human endeavor.

However, celestial party crashers are never hard to find and two of them arrive this morning as Mars in Gemini squares Chiron in Pisces (6:28AM PDT) and the Moon unites with the red planet almost five hours later (11:23AM PDT). Being pushy, reckless and arrogant won't add to your charisma and finer character traits.

Fortunately, the planet of love and beauty - Venus - comes to the rescue as the Moon parallels Venus (2:48PM PDT) and then, as the evening hours unfold, Mercury also forms a parallel to Venus (11:25PM PDT).

Therefore, the entire day has a dualistic feel to it - with martial, stormy conditions eventually giving way to the balm and sustenance that often accompany Venusian alignments. Do your best to improve the quality of primary partnerships - particularly in the second half of the day.

SAGITTARIUS 22nd Nov – 21st Dec Sodalite, Topaz

CAPRICORN 22nd Dec – 20th Jan Snowflake Obsidian, Garnet

Despite some favorable celestial alliances today and tomorrow, tensions are definitely filling the psychic atmosphere with a primarily discordant energy-field.

For example, today starts off with a spiritually uplifting Sun-Chiron trine in water signs (12:09AM PDT), but these auspicious vibes receive a reprimand coming from Venus forming an abrasive square to Juno (1:37AM PDT).

Then opportunities for forward progress appear to arise due to a supportive, 60-degree alliance from Mars to Uranus (3:27AM PDT) magnified by a similar aspect connecting Mercury and Juno (5:41AM PDT). You should take advantage of these helpful sky patterns because the Moon in Taurus begins a long void cycle at 9:25AM PDT that lasts until 12:57AM PDT tomorrow.

To punctuate this uncertainty zone, the Moon parallels Mars (9:39AM PDT) - adding a contentious note to the rest of the day. As if that wasn't enough, Vesta chimes in and disturbs the investment scene by moving into a frictional, 45-degree contact with radical-change agent Uranus (3:11PM PDT) and, by 10:21PM PDT, the annual Sun-Pluto polarity challenges everyone to be more sensitive and caring in their main relationships.

Whenever the center of the solar system (the Sun) is in polarity to the planet that rules the underworld (Pluto), deep-seated emotional forces are let loose in humanity. While there may be a greater capacity to understand dear ones psychologically, it is also tempting to project negative feelings on well-meaning family members, friends and colleagues. It is better to be more reflective and pull within for guidance than to bark commands to the people who help turn your world around. Keep a safe distance from legal matters and important signings with the cosmos somewhat askew during this 24-hour time-period.

Astological update for - Sunday june 26th

Astrology home page astology and symbolsUnder Taurus Moon - particularly on a Sunday - let your green thumb, cooking talents, and creative artistic expression flourish. The natural world beckons you with open arms.

One can't say the same thing about the investment, high-tech, literary and communication realms as Mercury makes an off-kilter, 150-degee tie to Vesta (2:24AM PDT), the Sun squares Uranus (3:15AM PDT), and Mercury also makes a frictional, 135-degree link to Chiron (12:01PM PDT).

Anytime the Sun clashes with Uranus, sparks can fly and shock waves are generated. Add on the two challenging alignments activated by Mercury and it is clear that a whole lot of turbulence is manifesting in the psychic atmosphere. Nevertheless, some tweaking is still possible in the direction of making advances on the cutting edge of metaphysics and science.

Get back on the fitness and athletic tracks later on - courtesy of a Mars-Jupiter 30-degree rapport linking Gemini and Taurus (7:45PM PDT). Be ready for a rousing and not necessarily calm start of a workweek tomorrow when a long void lunar cycle intermingles with the annual Sun-Pluto opposition.
